Image
I understand it is not easy to lean in a chair and think about your dream vacation when half of the world is under attack by the Corona and YOU could be its new victim BUT... you can try and stay calm and perhaps a little positive which in turn, lead to, you feeling good and healthy. I strongly believe that good health starts with a healthy mind and so lets dig a little deep on how we can try and stay Calm during the Corona Pandemic : 1. Breathe, understand, accept: As simple as it sounds, it is one of the most effective ways to handle stress. Take 5 minutes to sit or lay down and focus on your breathing. Meditate, exercise or perform yoga. Understand the reality from all the angles. Don't just madly panic over something without analysing the cause and consequence. Finally accept the reality and your minimum control over something so big. However that doesn't mean you cannot do ANYTHING. Washing hands and staying away from others is one of the biggest factors that wi...

I never want to invest too much in beauty products or makeup products, at least for now so I have a very simple regimen for the times when my skin breakouts. Following are some tips to maintain good skin and cure accidental acne:   Wash your face using a mild face wash, I swear by Clean and Clear Original Face wash ; I use this even when I don’t have acne. Ponds Daily Face-wash Review

Image
Ponds Daily Face-wash ―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――― Reviewing the lovely coloured Ponds daily face wash.  First Look: Its white in colour, bit transparent and is of normal consistency. You won’t see much foam when you lather it on your palms. The company claims it to be 100% soap free, contains Glycerin and Vitamin . My skin type is oily to normal and sensitive (mildly allergic to dust).    Packing : This is the most important point to look at! Man! It is nerve wrecking! I hurt my fingers almost every time I tried to open the cap. Since there is not enough space to put your nail so you have to force open it while hurting your finger. Performance: Although I didn’t find it much helpful for acne, it does control oil for quite a long time. If you like foam, it doesn’t have foam.  Will I recommend it? Yes if you are cool with the hard-to-open packing and have a normal skin type (n...

Garnier Ultra Blends - Anti Hairfall Shampoo Review

Image
First review on the blog and it’s about the much hyped shampoo, Garnier Ultra Blends Anti Hairfall Shampoo. First of all I have a oily scalp, medium thick hair and long length. I have uploaded pictures of the company’s claim and ingredients list. I have used the shampoo for 4 weeks now so here are my thoughts on the quality and performance of the shampoo:   Performance: I did not find it doing much justice to the claim of being an Anti-Hairfall Shampoo. My hair fall problem was still on however, my hair felt softer, smoother and smelt nice.  Oily scalp is a blunder and this shampoo somehow managed to control it for 3-4 days plus the softness and smell stayed for 4 days straight which is commendable.  I personally think a shampoo alone cannot solve your hair-fall problem, it requires dedication towards your hair. You need to oil, use a hair pack, shampoo, condition and limit styling your hair. And go for ...
